Batch Ovens

Cire Technologies designs and fabricates custom batch ovens, specializing in difficult applications where off-the-shelf ovens are not applicable.  Batch ovens include drying, heat treating and curing applications.  Our batch oven systems are characterized by uniform heat transfer and energy efficient design.  Because we are limited by fitting stock ovens to your process we are able to design and implement creative and innovative approaches to unique applications.

Typical industries served include:

  • Semiconductor
  • Carbon Fiber

Design features of our batch ovens:

  • Uniform heat transfer
  • Efficient energy usage including waste heat recovery when available
  • Option for integrated fume oxidizer
  • Multiple heat sources available including gas fired, oil fired, electric, waste heat recovery and indirect gas fired
  • Top quality materials and components
  • HMI and PLC control with optional recipe system is available

Flotation Dryers

Cire Technologies supplies flotation dryers to the full range of paper, film, foil and textile web converting industries. The flotation dryers and ovens pictured above include; a one hundred twenty feet of drying for a three stage coating process with the web floating between nozzles 1/4 inches apart: a four zone tower oven with drying, curing and sintering zones, retracting nozzles and headers and temperature capabilities up to 400°C; and a six zone high temperature oxidizing oven with waste heat recovery to preheat the make-up air.

Our flotation dryers utilize state of the art construction proven by years of successful installations.

Standard to our Flotation Dryers are the following features:

  • Proven shoe box coanda nozzles fed by central headers provide uniform heating and allow the exhaust to be removed from the web between the nozzles preventing excessive drying of the web edges.
  • Variable speed drives are provided with all the recirculating (supply) air and exhaust air fans.
  • Premium quality burners, controls and gas train components. Where gas burners are required we use Maxon Corporation burners and Honeywell burner controls and gas train components unless otherwise specified.
  • Insulated dryer box, burner box and ductwork construction that is both very durable and provides excellent insulating quality. Hot spots are eliminated and the insulating system will withstand operator and maintenance personnel abuse without degrading.
  • All pressure ductwork is welded construction with angle flanges, leakage will not occur.
  • Nozzles and plenums are welded construction and of material gages thick enough to retain their shape and drying characteristics for the life of the machine.
  • Optional dryer designs are available with adjustable top to bottom nozzle spacing to meet the demands of a wide variety of products.
  • Our design standards result in stable web support on air without the drift inherent in many other designs.

Optional system features include:

  • Electric, natural gas, propane, oil, steam, indirect heat or waste heat recovery heat sources
  • Waste heat recovery used to heat make-up air
  • Heated make-up air
  • Hybrid heating systems
  • Retracting nozzles and headers, interior to the housing and equal distant to the web on each side to provide infinite adjustment of the heat transfer characteristics and web control of the dryer or oven
  • Retracting systems for maintenance and web threading where the upper half of the dryer or oven is raised and separated from the lower half

Impingement Dryers

Cire Technologies supplies impingement dryers to the full range of paper, film, foil, metal coil and textile web converting industries. These impingement dryers range from press dryers to adhesive coating dryers over one hundred feet long.  Our impingement dryers utilize state of the art construction proven by years of successful installations.

Standard to our Impingement Dryers are the following features:

  • Shoe box nozzles fed by central headers provide uniform heating and allow the exhaust to be removed from the web between the nozzles preventing excessive drying of the web edges.
  • Idler roll bearings mounting on structural steel outside the dryer with all rolls removable through the side of the dryer box.
  • Variable speed drives provide with the recirculating (supply) air and exhaust air fans.

Industrial Dryers and Ovens

Cire Technologies Dryers and Ovens

Cire Technologies manufactures direct impingement dryers and impingement ovens along with flotation dryers and flotation ovens for the multitude of web converting industries. All of our dryers / ovens are custom designed to your specific products yet provide flexibility to adjust to changes in your production requirements over time.

CireTech-OKCire Technologies uses only the finest construction techniques to ensure process repeatability and equipment dependability. Our dryers are carefully designed to insure uniform heat transfer across the profile of the web. Typical variations in our dryers and ovens for velocity are below ± 5% and temperature are under ± 1°C. This consistency will enable you to produce even higher quality products. Because the units we furnish will typically operate for decades they are designed and built to adapt to changes in your business.

CireTech-OKForemost in our design philosophy is heat transfer flexibility, uniformity and repeatability over a wide range of operating parameters. Our dryers are built to provide these capabilities with easy and repeatable adjustments. Careful consideration is given to efficient operation with the goal of minimizing the cost of producing your product
